Aleksandra Stanojevic-Russo

Aleksandra Stanojevic-Russo is a Deaf content creator, advocate, and proud mom of two hearing CODA daughters. Born profoundly Deaf, she grew up with access to both sign language and spoken language, giving her a unique perspective on navigating the Deaf and hearing worlds. Together with her husband, who is also Deaf, she is raising their family in a bilingual home that embraces both languages.

Through her social media platform, @rawtalkaleks, Aleksandra shares honest, humorous, and educational stories about Deaf culture, parenting, accessibility, and family life. Her goal is to help families feel confident, connected, and empowered as they raise Deaf or Hard of Hearing children, because she believes every child deserves full access to language, a strong sense of identity, and the freedom to thrive. Through education, advocacy, and authentic storytelling, she is helping bridge the gap between the Deaf and hearing communities.
